Frequently Asked Questions
Are these sets suitable for all ages?
Most Cookeez Makery ovens are designed for children aged 5 and up, with some like the Easy Bake suitable for 8+. Always check the recommended age on the packaging to ensure safety and appropriateness. Younger children should have adult supervision, especially for sets involving baking or small parts.
Do these playsets require batteries?
Many electronic options, such as the Cinnamon Treatz and Hello Kitty sets, do need batteries for sound or warming features. The Lil’ Bakez craft kit does not require batteries, focusing instead on manual shaping and baking. Confirm the battery requirements before purchase to avoid surprises.
Can I make real edible treats with these sets?
The Easy Bake Ultimate Oven is the only set that produces real edible treats, like cupcakes and cookies. The other sets are primarily pretend play with plush toys and scents, designed for imaginative, sensory, or craft-based fun rather than actual baking.
Are the plush toys safe and washable?
Yes, the plush toys included in most sets are made from child-safe materials and are either plush or fabric. They are generally washable, but always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions to keep them fresh and safe for repeated play.
Which set offers the most variety?
The Lil’ Bakez set includes six different scented plush friends, providing the most variety for collectors and repeat play. The other sets typically offer fewer characters or focus on specific themes, so choose based on whether variety or themed play is more important for your child.
